World Holding is a company that comes from the fusion of two Italian companies (Proton, C.A. and Insert Coin, C.A.). Proton started its activities in Italy at the late 80s taking advantage of the video poker "boom" that was taking place in Italy at that time. Also its activities were based in the entertainment and gaming world having as an objective the need of providing the best software. In the year 1992 it merged with the company Insert Coin which fabricated and distributed all types of casino machines.

After the merging, World Holding which was already a leader in the Italian market, started to expand to new economies internationally, to countries like Mexico in order to accomplish their expansion goal and to act the administration and operation of Casinos, Bingos and Game rooms. Focusing on industrialization, distribution, installation, renting, importing, exporting, buying and selling all types of equipment for gaming establishments.
